Terms of Executive Order released for contractor minimum wage
a second Executive Order was signed on “Equal Pay Day” in April. Their proposed regulations would keep government contractors from keeping pay policies a secret, and remove discriminatory language from contracts regarding employees asking about or sharing information about their wages. The Order will go into effect on January 1, 2015, and applies only for new contractors and replacements for contracts that are expiring.
