MYB welcomes a new Director of Government Solutions: Annice Brown

Hendersonville, NC, December 2nd, 2015 – Mind Your Business is thrilled to announce the hiring of a new Director of Government Solutions. Annice Brown will be filling the role of director and joining MYB’s prestigious team. Brown will be responsible for the development of MYB’s services within the government sector. She will be focused on building relationships with potential key stakeholders/decision makers at the Federal, state, and local level of governments, and working with the MYB team to respond to RFPs (Request For Proposals). She will develop and implement the strategic plan for Government sales and grow the government procurement department at MYB. Brown brings more than 20 years of experience in economic development, including creating and implementing policies and programs for the public and private sector. Formerly of North Carolina’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), Brown counseled small businesses in areas such as marketing; government procurement, technology transfer, strategic planning, and international business development. Through this role, she has, in fact, collaborated with MYB on numerous projects over the last decade. Brown has worked as a consultant for strategic planning and has extensive experience in international business endeavors. She speaks fluent French, and was North Carolina’s SBA Women’s Business Advocate of the Year in 2014.
