MYB returns from Washington

Mind Your Business, Inc. returned from Washington D.C. this week having attended National Small Business. As mentioned last week in the blog, Karen was chosen as North Carolina Small Business Person of the Year 2011 – a fantastic accolade and superb sign for MYB’s future. Check out the full list of state winners. Each year SBA celebrates all the small businesses and small business persons across the country – emphasizing the important role they play in our economy. Such recognition is particularly important this year, as we all attempt to help the economy recover from a difficult couple of years. In 2011 it is ever more important that small businesses are growing and contributing to the local and national community, specifically in terms of creating new jobs in order to decrease the level of unemployment our country currently has. For these reasons, Karen and MYB are incredibly proud for what we have achieved and the emphatic position we are in despite the economic downturn.
