MYB, Inc. Certified as HUBZone Small Business Concern

On July 16, Hendersonville small business Mind Your Business, Inc. (MYB, Inc.) was certified as a qualified HUBZone small business concern. With the new certification, MYB is now eligible for HUBZone opportunities and is included on the list of qualified HUBZone small business concerns.

“We are so pleased to be awarded this certification from the SBA,” said Karen Caruso, founder and CEO of MYB, Inc. “This creates more opportunities for government contracting for MYB, Inc. This means our business can grow and hire more local employees in the future. When small businesses grow, the entire local economy benefits.” 

HUBZone is a program operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Eligibility is limited to small businesses that are owned and controlled in the majority by American citizens, located within a designated HUBZone, and has employees who live within the HUBZones. HUBZones are defined as Historically Underutilized Business Zone. As a HUBZone small business, MYB, Inc. has improved access to bid on Federal contract awards.
