2017 NAPBS Mid-Year Legislative & Regulatory Conference

NAPBS Mid-Year Legislative & Regulatory Conference kicks off today in Washington D.C. With a focus on regulation, legislation, education, and compliance (as related to the background screening industry), there’s something for everyone. The keynote sessions will discuss the Trump presidency, the future of accreditation, and legislative updates. The event is then broken up into key conference tracks, which include:

  • Tenant
Advocacy Day takes place immediately following the Mid-Year Conference, where attendees work to collectively influence positive change for the background screening profession. Founded as a non-profit trade association in 2003, the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) was established to represent the interest of companies offering employment and tenant background screening services. The NAPBS community also sets out to establish and promote a high level of ethics and performance standards for the screening industry.
